Get to Know Our Owner - Linda Hill

Linda Hill is the owner of Across the Board Home Healthcare. She established the company in 2011. Her idea started long before, but she took time to gain knowledge and expertise in the industry by working in a home health agency for years. There, she was able to gain insight into the needs of the disabled and senior community and started a business tailored to meet their individual needs. 

Linda Hill married Jesse Hill in October 2010. He shared her passion and vision for helping the elderly and disabled community with the assistance of professional caregivers of our locally owned home care company.

More About Linda Hill

Linda's passion to serve society has begun years ago when she began working in Detroit, MI. She worked as a social worker for 17 years with 13 years as a lead caseworker. Her urge to help others influenced her to purchase a property to provide low-cost housing for those in need. After years of founding, developing, and managing a highway construction business that gave many urban young men family-supporting wages in MI, she retired.

After returning home to east Texas in 1998, she worked restlessly to bring her vision to life. She started Across the Board Home Healthcare in a vacant room of her own home. Besides taking care of the business administration, she and her husband Jesse worked as caregivers to several of Across the Board Home Healthcare's clients.

Linda's mission was simple. She wanted to serve those in need in the name of Christ. She believed educating herself is necessary to educate others. She wanted to become a leader in the community by serving the community.
